Say No to Fear 🚫

Fear is a foe. If we don’t know that by now, we will. Fear is a thief, a liar, a paralyzer…an enemy. “Oh what’s the big deal?,” you may ask. “A little fear hasn’t hurt anybody.” Hasn’t it? 🤔

This is what I feel like the Lord is saying:

So now we deal with the fear…fear is not your portion. It’s not supposed to be named with My children. Fear is an enemy. Just like unforgiveness, a little fear is not okay. Fear is designed to take you out. Fear is designed to connect you with the very thing you’re fearful of. Fear is designed to keep you tethered to your negative experiences that invoked fear. Fear is trying to take you back to the source of your fear and cause you to relive it over and over again. Yes, it manifests as different things from different experiences, but the root is the same. Uproot the spirit of fear. Uproot the pride associated with it. Where you think you have to protect yourself in any capacity. Where you think that you’re not good enough. Fear of rejection because of what you’ve been through. Perfect love casts out all fear. I want you to meditate on that.

Here is 1 John 4:18 that backs this up: There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

If our love is perfected, which in the Greek is complete, fear will have no place in our lives.

So say no to fear. It means you only harm! Watch out. Be vigilant and diligent to keep it out.⛔️
