Mr. MNM gave us a thorough run-down of what we can do to effectively change. He has made suggestions on what to do and what to not do. However, if we don’t choose to take heed, it would be of no help to us. We must make the choice to change.
Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT puts it this way:
Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
The Lord puts the ball in our court by basically telling us, “Here are your choices, folks! Make sure you choose LIFE!!” How good is our God to not only give us the test but also the answers lol! If we miss it, it’s our decision. Sobering, but accurate.
Here is what I feel the Lord is saying:
“My people have choices to make. Day in and day out. Choices. Like you choose what you believe and what you don’t believe. It’s your choice. You choose to put in the work or you don’t. Your choice. And on that same token, the results are results of your choice. There’s no getting away from that. There may be unintended consequences but the choice was made.
That’s why I say to you-choose wisely. Choose wisely so that you and your seed may live. Keep your face and your focus on Me. Let Me show you the paths of truth. Let Me keep you in My arms of care. Let Me teach you how to choose wisely. Choose wisely, My beloved. Choose wisely and I will show you the path of life. Choose wisely and see My plans come to fruition.”
