Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding.<\/em> 2 Corinthians\u202c \u202d10\u202c:\u202d12\u202c \u202dESV\u202c\u202c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, I feel like the Lord is saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Don\u2019t compare yourself with others. When you do, you put yourself in a position to fail. You go off on someone else\u2019s trajectory, instead of the one uniquely designed for you. You cause things to go in the wrong direction instead of the way I designed for you to go<\/em>.

Trust in the path of the Cross for you.
<\/em>
Let the cares of this life be nothing compared to My care of you.<\/em>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is pretty self-explanatory, right? It is silly to compare ourselves to someone else, right? However, who doesn’t find themselves doing just that, even just a little bit?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that’s not at all what the Lord wants for us–not even just a little bit.

He wants us to remember that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139)
We’re the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8)
We’re His handiwork (Ephesians 2:10)
We’re individuals needed to play our parts (1 Corinthians 12:27)

So walk your walk.

Be how God designed you.

Don’t look at what others are doing to determine your path.

Look only to the Lord and understand how much He cares for you.

That’s enough to make you realize that, when it comes to you, there is simply no comparison!
