Do you ever get tired of striving? Do you ever get tired of trying to make things happen, in your own strength? 💪<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There\u2019s a remedy for that, for sure: sweet surrender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can pull a Jesus and say to Abba: not my will, but Your will be done. (Matthew 26:39, Mark 14:36, Luke 22:42, John 6:38) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What a sweet release! 👌 Of course, the release comes when we understand these things about God:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a) He loves us dearly<\/p>\n\n\n\n
b) He knows better than us<\/p>\n\n\n\n
c) His plans are for our benefit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
d) He is good<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A scripture that comes to mind: \u201cWhoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed\u2014without remedy.<\/em>\u201d (Proverbs 29:1 NIV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yikes! 🤯 Doesn\u2019t that make you want to stay sweetly surrendered?? 🥴<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s so important to surrender to what the Lord wants for you instead of what you think you want for you. ☝️<\/p>\n\n\n\n Struggling and striving are HUGE time wasters. They take you out of the will of God\u2014His will for you is REST.
