Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.<\/em>\u201d John 14:27 ESV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isn\u2019t that comforting? Doesn\u2019t that put your soul at peace? Jesus is speaking these words straight to you. Now. As you are reading this. Don\u2019t think of this as a far off promise or one that has expired. It is for now.\u00a0 And in this moment. And for all time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can&#8217;t talk about peace too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So can I suggest that you memorize this verse? Would you meditate on it and put it into your annals of personal experience? Let it be a weapon, a tool, a rally cry when life rolls in with all its issues. I\u2019m not prophesying doom and gloom, just giving you the reality of it. Issues will come. Jesus told us we would have trouble but to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. (John 16:33)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>\u2026when that unexpected bill comes in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when your country seems to have gone crazy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when that child forgets who they are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when that loved one resists the gospel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when that medical diagnosis comes<br>\u2026when the promotion goes to someone else<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when that situation turns out differently than was expected<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when that relationship goes south<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026when (insert your problem here)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Just tap into the peace. Peace is your portion, remember? That peace that passes all understanding. That sweet peace that only comes from being in the presence of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sweet. Everlasting.
