Ahhh sweet peace. Who doesn\u2019t feel like they could use a bit more? I know I do. But wait, based on this scripture here 👆 we have the peace of JESUS! Not the world\u2019s peace, not the flaky in and out peace. But true peace. Stable peace. Stamina peace. Longstanding peace. Jesus peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What is peace? Is it the absence of trouble or turmoil or chaos or calamity? No, ma\u2019am! No, sir! It\u2019s a quiet assurance despite all that\u2019s going on around us. It\u2019s a confidence in the One who made it all possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The word translated as peace from the Greek is eir\u0113n\u0113<\/em>. One of the definitions for this word is \u201cset at one again.\u201d Don\u2019t you love that?! 😍\u00a0 So good.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Let\u2019s take it a step further. It is thought that eir\u0113n\u0113 <\/em>comes from the root verb eiro <\/em>which means to join<\/em>. By implication, Jesus\u2019s peace joins us with HIM and sets us at one again in HIM‼️Yet another evidentiary piece of His Goodness and Thoughtfulness towards us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The understanding that we have the Jesus Peace helps us take heed to the rest of John 14:27\u2026\u201dLet not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n So remember that you have the sweet peace of Jesus, that never runs out\u2014NO MATTER WHAT!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Go in that peace, today! 🙌<\/p>\n\n\n\n ~mnm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" \u201cPeace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.
