The Lord our God is the Chief Secret Keeper, as revealed in Scripture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. (<\/em>Psalm 25:14 KJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n The secret things belong to the LORD our God. The revealed things belong to us and to our children forever: to keep all the words of this covenant<\/em>. (Deuteronomy\u202c \u202d29\u202c:\u202d29\u202c \u202dCEB\u202c\u202c)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unlike some childhood experiences (and adult ones, too!), He doesn\u2019t leave us out. 🔒He wants to reveal His secrets to us because we are in covenant with Him.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Psalm 91:1 says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Isn\u2019t that beautiful? 😍 We are a part of His \u201cin\u201d crowd. We get to be a part of the Creator of the Universe\u2019s inner circle! A much better circle than all the others, I think.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n We get the secrets of the Secret Place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Wait, but how do we really <\/em>get in??<\/p>\n\n\n\n By abiding in Him. Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend\u2026<\/em>(Exodus 33:11 ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. <\/em>(John 15:15 ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aaghhh. 🤯 I can hardly stand it. Friendship with God, what?! Oh such a privilege and high honor!!\u00a0🥰<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friendship with God gives us direct access to the Secret Place. Wow!
