What better topic than the goodness of God? He says taste and see that I am good! (Ps 34:8) It\u2019s the best invitation\u2014a taste test lol. 🍯 He wants us to know that His very nature is good and there is no deviation from that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Think about it this way. Have you ever burnt your tongue? I mean really burned it like you just knew you were going to need a tongue replacement? 😜 It affected your ability to taste, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or have you ever gotten something in your eye where you had to keep closing it because the discomfort was so great? It affected your ability to see, right? 👀👀<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both of these experiences can also be related to us spiritually\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How many times have we been burned by life and not been able to taste<\/em> His goodness? <\/p>\n\n\n\n How many times have we felt that we were poked in both eyes and unable to see<\/em> His goodness? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Our distorted senses don\u2019t affect the true reality of the goodness of God. He is good no matter what our senses or circumstances tell us.
