I feel like the Lord is asking His people if we trust Him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, our first response would be, of course we do, Daddy! We trust you with everything in us. Why, You know our favorite scripture in all the world is Proverbs 3:5-6\u2026in every translation!<\/em> 😄👌<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trust in the Lord with all your heart, In all your ways acknowledge him, That sounds all well and good, until the rubber meets the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n What happens when someone gets sick? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Or you don\u2019t have enough to make ends meet? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Or you don\u2019t get into the educational program of your dreams?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Or your marriage falls apart?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Or you are wrongly accused?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Or any number of other things that can ruffle your feathers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s when the pressure comes on that we know whether or not we really trust Him. I think we do ourselves a disservice when we don\u2019t focus on developing our relationship with Him until we are in a bad spot. Trust is bred out of relationship\u2014committed, continued relationship. We must spend more time focusing on getting to know God; it has to be our ultimate goal. This is how we become more acquainted with the surety of His character and the blessed assurance that He will NEVER let us down! <\/p>\n\n\n\n There is no way He can fail because He is infallible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Let that sink in a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are looking at me a little side eyed 👀👀👀, I have a challenge for you. How about we see some of the benefits of trusting the Lord:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Straight paths (Proverbs 3:5-6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Help (Psalm 28:7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n No Fear (Jeremiah 17:7-8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Perfect Peace (Isaiah 26:3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Safety (Proverbs 29:25)<\/p>\n\n\n\n To name a few! Why don\u2019t you do a Bible study of some additional benefits of trusting ABBA!
